01 / Cover & Conditions

E07 Warranty Explained

DEEPAL’s warranty covers eligible defects in factory materials or workmanship. An authorised DEEPAL centre can repair, replace or adjust an affected part without charge, subject to the warranty conditions.

  • New Vehicle: 7 years / 160,000 km for standard non-commercial use.
  • High-Voltage Battery: 8 years / 240,000 km; the current website excludes commercial use.
  • 12V Battery: 1 year / 20,000 km.
  • Commercial Vehicle Use: 1 year / 120,000 km under the handbook. This includes hire, taxi, delivery and tool-of-trade use.
  • Genuine Accessories: optional accessories have 1 year from first supply; standard genuine replacement parts receive the remaining vehicle warranty.

Each time/distance limit ends at whichever comes first. Vehicle warranty periods begin at first registration.

The current website separately lists 8 years / 150,000 km for the electric drive system and vehicle controller, whichever comes first. This term is absent from the July 2025 handbook’s periods table; confirm applicability to your E07 with DEEPAL.

Routine maintenance and ordinary wear are not free warranty servicing. Conditions and exclusions apply, including failures caused by misuse or unapproved modifications. The website excludes normal battery-capacity degradation and requires compliance with charging, maintenance and battery-check requirements; it does not state a guaranteed capacity-retention percentage.

Keep service records and ask an authorised DEEPAL centre to assess a specific claim. The warranty is additional to your Australian Consumer Law rights.

02 / Help on the Road

Roadside Assistance

DEEPAL’s current Australian roadside webpage lists 1800 020 371 for help, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. New buyers must opt in to the complimentary 12-month program.

Support can include a flat 12V battery, tyre trouble, keys and towing, subject to membership and service limits. If the traction battery is depleted, assistance may provide enough charge or transport the vehicle to an accessible charger.

Accommodation and rental-car benefits have qualifying conditions and caps. They are not an automatic entitlement, and accident towing costs remain the owner’s responsibility.

The current publisher-hosted December 2024 terms also list 1800 020 371. Check your membership material for the conditions and service limits that apply.

03 / Looking after Your E07

Servicing and Costs

The routine E07 service interval is 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first. Use the handbook for the full maintenance schedule and any additional requirements.

Eligible vehicles have a 7-year / 140,000 km capped-price servicing program. It sets service prices; it is not free servicing or an extension of warranty cover.

DEEPAL’s current schedule lists the first service at A$161.33 for both E07 RWD and AWD Performance. Prices, eligibility and participating-centre conditions apply; wear items can cost extra. Check the live schedule before booking.

04 / Plugging in

Charging at Home and Away

The E07’s published charging capability is 7 kW AC and up to 240 kW DC. A higher-rated home charger does not make the car exceed its AC charging limit.

DEEPAL quotes 30–80% in 15 minutes on DC under suitable conditions. Actual charging depends on the charger, battery temperature, state of charge and other conditions.

Official pages differ on a full AC-charge estimate: the E07 model page says about 16 hours, while the E07/S07 comparison says 13 hours. Treat these as estimates rather than a guaranteed home-charging time.

For connector use, charge settings and warnings, follow the Australian owner’s manual. For a home installation, have a licensed electrician assess the property and charging equipment.

Powering Appliances

V2L and the Boot Power Outlets

Sources Checked · Australian E07

V2L means vehicle to load, also written “vehicle 2 load”. The E07 manual calls external V2L Exterior Power Supply. It uses an adapter at the vehicle’s AC charging port. The boot AC socket and the separate 12V outlet have their own instructions; do not interchange their controls or ratings.

Power Ratings

The Australian specification lists a maximum V2L discharge rate of 6.6 kW at 220 V for both E07 variants. This vehicle specification does not establish the capacity of each outlet or adapter.

The April 2026 manual’s rear AC socket description lists 220 V and appliance power no more than 3.5 kW (PDF page 76). This does not verify the fitted Australian socket’s capacity. Do not treat an outlet marked 10 A as rated for 3.5 kW. Follow the fitted socket, adapter and socket-strip ratings; ask DEEPAL to resolve the difference before using a load whose rating is uncertain.

External V2L at the Charging Port

The manual’s procedure requires the vehicle to be powered on and in P, using a suitable power-supply adapter purchased separately (PDF pages 98–99).

  1. In Energy Centre, check that Power Supply Limit is below the current battery charge.
  2. Open the left rear charging flap and the AC charging socket’s dust cover, then connect the power-supply adapter securely.
  3. A flashing purple charging indicator shows that supply has started. Use the switch at the adapter’s socket end to supply the appliance.
  4. To finish, turn off and unplug the appliance, switch off the adapter’s discharge socket, remove the adapter from the car, and close the dust cover and charging flap.

Do not touch the discharge socket while discharging, handle plugs with wet hands, let children use the equipment, use damaged cables, or exceed the socket strip’s permitted load. The manual says external discharge stops if a DC charging connector and AC discharge connector are connected at the same time. Read the full manual procedure and warnings before use.

Boot AC Socket and Remaining Uncertainties

For the boot AC socket, the manual says opening its flip cover illuminates the discharge indicator and enables supply; closing the cover turns the indicator off and disconnects supply (PDF page 76). These are boot-socket controls, not the charging-port adapter sequence. For a greyed-out 32 A AC charging setting with a normal 7 kW lead, the manual says to check that the boot socket cover is fully closed (PDF page 98).

The reviewed E07 instructions specify checking Power Supply Limit; they do not establish a fixed 20% minimum. They also do not confirm that a fridge will remain powered with the vehicle off or locked. Community suggestions involving guard mode or a trunk-status setting remain unconfirmed and do not establish continuous or overnight AC or 12V power.

The reviewed Australian sources confirm V2L, but do not establish V2H home supply, V2G grid export, or compatibility with a particular third-party adapter or appliance. Confirm those details with DEEPAL and, for a home electrical installation, a qualified installer.

05 / Keeping up to Date

Software and Connected Services

Australian Release Notes Checked · Chinese History Reviewed 6 October 2026

The official Australian E07 release notes, checked 14 October 2026, list Update 1.1.0. Changes include IACC corner-speed refinement, remembering the emergency lane-keeping on/off setting, Android Auto fixes and adjustments to high-beam, voice-volume and assistance settings.

An Australian E07 owner confirmed 1.1.1 was offered to their vehicle by 30 September 2026. Community issue E07-060 also records reports that an audio problem stopped after that update. DEEPAL Australia’s public release-notes page still names 1.1.0, so its published page appears to lag the owner-confirmed rollout; availability can still vary by vehicle.

The selected Chinese E07 release history reviewed on 6 October 2026 includes Tops OS 1.1.0 from January 2025, SDA OS-N 1.3.0 from July 2025 and SDA OS-N 1.6.0, reported on 9 May 2026. Reported changes cover remote monitoring, scene programming, rear Pad/PadLink control and local digital keys. This does not establish the latest version offered to every Chinese E07.

Australian and Chinese version numbers are not one upgrade sequence. A Chinese release does not establish Australian availability, a future Australian rollout, retrofit compatibility or a safe cross-region firmware installation. Read the dated history and source limits in the software guide.

Check the software version installed in your car before comparing behaviour with a guide or issue report. A release-note entry does not confirm that every related community issue has been resolved.

DEEPAL Connected Services includes an initial two-year subscription, with paid renewal afterwards. Voice and vehicle-control functions have a 1 GB allowance per calendar month. If that allowance is reached, the affected services are disabled until the first day of the next month, when data usage refreshes. This does not establish that every connected service is disabled; check the current service terms for the functions marked as subject to the allowance.

Media, Documents & Credits

Media and documents on this site are shared to support the owner community. Credit is given to the original source wherever it is known, with publisher, supplier or community-source links provided where available.

Where a source is known, publisher or supplier credits remain beside the image or in the relevant guide. Community material is published without personal identifiers unless separate consent has been provided.

Manuals, terms and technical documents are cited as plain-text names and pages. This site does not host PDFs or include full PDFs in its AI library. Document editions and page references remain visible beside the summaries.

08 / Privacy & AI

Your Privacy When Using Ask AI

This is the independent community site’s privacy notice, not a DEEPAL policy.

Do not include your name, address, VIN, registration, contact details or other personal information when asking a question. Ask AI is a general owner-information service, not a private support channel.

Ask AI requests pass through Cloudflare. When a reviewed library summary is not used, AWS retrieves relevant indexed material and Amazon Nova processes the submitted question and excerpts. Continuing sessions also send up to three recent questions and short answer summaries as topic context, not source evidence. This context stays in page memory and expires 15 minutes after the last completed answer, or when you reload or leave the page. We do not save a conversation transcript on our servers. Cloudflare and AWS may process information outside Australia.

After input validation, bot verification and usage-limit approval, eligible successful and failed answer attempts may be kept privately for up to 90 days. Before storage, automated pattern-based redaction removes obvious email addresses, phone numbers, VINs, IP addresses and common credential patterns. This is best-effort redaction and may miss names, addresses, registrations or other personal information, so leave them out.

AI answers can contain mistakes or miss important context. Check the linked manual or original source before acting, and contact DEEPAL for vehicle-specific or safety-critical advice.
