Verified Rear Centre-Seat Recall

The Australian Government notice describes a potentially missing child-restraint anchor at the rear middle seating position, required by ADR 34/03. An unsecured child restraint can increase the risk of injury or death during an accident or hard braking.

Check Your VIN and Arrange the Work

  1. Check the Official List

Open the official notice and compare your complete VIN with its attached list. Share your VIN directly with DEEPAL or your dealer, rather than posting it publicly.

  2. Book with an Authorised Dealer

The notice asks affected owners to immediately schedule an appointment with their preferred authorised DEEPAL dealer. The recall work is free of charge.

  3. Confirm the Current Instructions

Ask the dealer to confirm applicability, the permitted restraint installation while awaiting work and the completed campaign record for your VIN. The public notice does not specify repair parts or establish completion for an individual vehicle.

DEEPAL Australia’s published contact details are 02 9930 7800 and Deepal-Feedback@inchcape.com.au.

Left and Right Rear ISOFIX Reports Remain Unverified

The April 2026 E07 manual identifies ISOFIX positions on the rear outboard seats. These lower-anchor positions are distinct from the centre-seat child-restraint anchorage covered by REC-006560.

A separate Australian recall for the reported left/right rear child-restraint concern was not established in the official sources checked on 15 October 2026. The reported concern’s exact mechanism, affected model years, VIN scope and remedy remain unverified. Confirm any claimed outer-seat campaign and its repair instructions directly with DEEPAL.

If your dealer provides a separate campaign notice, ask for its campaign number, affected VIN confirmation and written owner instructions. The lack of a verified separate notice here does not establish that a particular anchorage or installation is safe.
