Adjust E07 Lumbar Support

Use the physical front-seat lumbar switch to change lower-back support while parked. The Australian specification lists four-way lumbar adjustment for both front seats in RWD and AWD Performance; these steps follow the April 2026 owner’s manual.

Find the Lumbar Control

Look at the controls on the side of the front-seat base. The manual identifies the lumbar control as Button 3. It is separate from Switch 1, which changes seat position and height, and Switch 2, which changes the backrest angle.

Adjust the Support

Use Button 3 while parked. The front and rear ends mean the ends facing the front and rear of the vehicle, rather than a fixed left or right direction.

  1. Select Lumbar Support

The centre of Button 3 switches between lumbar support and massage functions where the shared control is fitted. If pressing a direction changes massage settings, press the centre once to switch to lumbar support.

  2. Change the Amount of Support

Use the front end of the control to move the lumbar support forward, making it more prominent. Use the rear end to move it backward, reducing the projection.

  3. Change the Support Height

With the shared control in its lumbar function, use the upper or lower end to move support up or down.

  4. Check Your Sitting Position

Check the support feels appropriate before driving. Keep a driving position that lets you reach the pedals and steering wheel comfortably, with your seat belt correctly positioned. Do not continue adjusting if the control or response is unclear; ask your DEEPAL retailer to identify the function on your vehicle.

If the Control Changes Massage

The same directional control has different functions in massage mode: the front and rear ends change massage modes, while the upper and lower ends change intensity. That is why selecting the lumbar function matters before adjusting support.

The manual describes eight massage modes and three intensity levels. A massage session stops automatically after 15 minutes. If massage is already running, lumbar adjustment pauses it; massage can continue after the support adjustment finishes.

This guide covers lumbar adjustment. It does not establish a touch-screen lumbar route or whether lumbar settings are saved with a seat-memory profile.

Vehicle Scope and References

The September 2026 Australian specification lists four-way lumbar adjustment for the driver and front passenger on both E07 RWD and E07 AWD Performance. The manual marks the combined lumbar/massage instructions as equipment-dependent. Check your fitted control before using the shared-function steps.
