The E07 Community Watchlist

Topics Australian E07 owners are following, including charging access, accessories and requested software features.

Reviewed 29 September 2026

Towing and a Spare-Wheel Carrier

Towbar availability is a repeated owner concern, both for towing and for carrying equipment. Some range discussion is based on general EV experience rather than a documented E07 towing test. Check the vehicle’s approved towing limits, current Australian accessories, installation requirements and insurance before planning a load.

A hitch-mounted spare-wheel carrier also appears on the owner feature wishlist. It should be treated as a request until an approved product, load limit and legal installation are documented.

Public Charger and Tesla Access

Tesla Supercharger charging: Ongoing. Owners report unsuccessful E07 charging attempts. Tesla’s Australian guidance confirms that selected sites support other CCS-enabled EVs, subject to compatible communication and safety protocols. It does not establish E07 compatibility. As of 29 September 2026, we have not found E07-specific confirmation or a fix from Tesla or DEEPAL Australia. See The Tesla Supercharger report for its current status.

Plan around other suitable charging sites until compatibility is confirmed. Use the road-trip planning guide for current-data checks, including reports about older public charging hardware. Record a failed session’s site, charger, date, vehicle software and error; individual reports do not establish that every site on a network is incompatible.

Software and Feature Requests

Community follow-up says Australian customer feedback has been acknowledged through the distributor, but acknowledgement is not a release promise. Owners have asked for:

  • easier app authentication and more reliable account persistence;
  • remote sentinel or 360-degree camera access;
  • ACC resume behaviour after braking;
  • a way to switch between ACC and IACC without using the touchscreen;
  • more control over the cargo partition glass position;
  • headlight settings that persist as owners expect;
  • clearer low-speed speedometer information.

Check official Australian release notes and your installed software to see which features are available on your vehicle.

Issue Signals Worth Documenting

Polls and discussions have highlighted headlight condensation, software faults, parts or trim concerns and interrupted updates. Check the individual report for its evidence and current status. The tracker uses Ongoing, Resolved, Workaround and Informational statuses, with impact recorded separately. Ownership costs and documented system limitations can be useful information without being unresolved faults. Owner-reported Tesla Supercharger failures remain Ongoing while confirmation and a resolution are pending.

Aftermarket Accessories

Active Sound System

A THOR active sound exhaust system has been discussed as a CAN-bus-linked product that simulates engine sound and gear changes, including a Mercedes-AMG C63-style profile. E07 compatibility has not been confirmed. Confirm Australian legality, external-noise rules, CAN-bus compatibility, electrical installation and warranty implications before purchase.

Key-Fob Print File

Before fitting a 3D-printed key-fob accessory, check the material, fit and button clearance. Check that locking, unlocking and other key functions still work normally with the accessory fitted.

Why Owners Chose the E07

In comparison discussions, owners have highlighted air suspension, a zero-gravity seat, four massage seats and soft-close doors. These are owner-selected differentiators, not an exhaustive specification comparison. Availability can depend on variant and market, so check the Australian specification for the vehicle being considered.
